GREEN CLAY

Green clay is the most valuable type of clay in the beauty industry, appreciated for its extraordinary anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to absorb excess oils. As a result, it is often used in deep-cleansing face masks and treatment compresses. Due to these properties, green clay is exceptionally good for acne-prone skin. Through its antibacterial action, the clay tightens pores, improves the function of sebaceous glands, promotes regeneration, improves blood circulation, and helps the skin to effectively absorb useful substances. It also tightens the skin and diminishes the appearance of wrinkles. When using green clay regularly, the skin becomes soft and smooth, and oil secretion is balanced. However, due to its strong purifying effects, green clay can be too strong for sensitive skin.

Green clay is used by mixing it with water or toners/hydrolats (floral waters). Add enough fluid to turn the dry clay into a paste with a pleasant smooth consistency. For those with dry skin, it is best to add unrefined vegetable oil to the mixture, such as jojoba, sweet almond, avocado or argan oil. Apply a layer of the mask to your face and leave for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly while massaging in circular motions. Use it at least once a week. Suitable for all skin types.
